Whalewatching in Samaná Bay |
Arriving in Samana from
Punta Cana, we board speedboats to watch the whales, there will
be happy to see and make photographs to this beautiful mammal
while jumping and playing in the Bay of Samana. Then we
continued our journey and reach the island of Cayo Levantado
(Bacardi Island). Later we headed to the beach where we have our
rich buffet. After lunch you can enjoy a refreshing swim in
crystal clear waters and beautiful white sand surrounded by palm
trees, relax in our exclusive chaise lounge. Boarded our boat
again and head to the spring of Samana.

Monster Truck |
The Monster-Truck-Safari
goes on an all-day excursion to the back lands. The tour starts
in the morning at 9am in Higüey. Higuey is located 52kms from
Punta Cana (Bávaro), far from tourism, in the back land. The
city has approximately 115,000 inhabitants and the well-known
Basilica Virgen de Altagracia built 1954-1972 can be seen. It is
here that we shall bring you from your hotel by bus to our
gathering point where the tour proper begins. Each truck is
equipped with cold beverage, beer, soda, pops, water, or drinks
mixed with rum, which will be served by one of our nice
bartenders. At the start of our adventure, we travel on dirt
road and through rivers while our trained tour guides will
inform you via microphone on this particular safari trip. We
then make the following stops:
1st Stop - We visit a Dominican rural family in their home.
There you learn interesting information about the people of the
countryside. You are offered fresh brewed coffee from hand
grounded beans and shown around the house where you will realize
how many people can actually live in such a small house and
still keep everything neat and clean; simple but beautiful.
2nd Stop - We visit a Dominican cock-fighting arena which is
typical of this island (optional).
3rd Stop - Fruit, sweets and cheese: Here we have a big
plantation of tropical fruits were our clients are able to eat
and enjoy them then we pass to the cheese factory and so on we
go to the Dominican sweets factory were they are made with a
typical Dominican style cooked on wood.
4th Stop - We visit a small community far from any city visiting
a government public school.
5th Stop - After so much adventure we arrive at our finca,
located along the beautiful Rio Chavón, were you may enjoy our
Mini Zoo in which we have a variety of different animals such
as: horses, birds, donkeys and other surprises. Then we offer
you a combination of shopping and giving at the same time. This
means that when you buy any item in our gift shop, part of the
benefit goes to our Monster Truck Safari School Foundation and
this way we are able to help support the school system in these
small communities. After this our Dominican buffet awaits for
you. Our restaurant is monitored by the Cristal America program
to guarantee the highest standard of hygiene and food handling
process (we have received 3 consecutive awards as the best
excursion ranch). You have the time to relax before the next
stop of our trip. Take a refreshing swim in the river or just
"hang out" in a hammock or take a seat at our bar and drink one
(or two ?) Cuba libres, Santo libres or Coco Locos!
6th Stop - The Voodoo-Man. The tour ends around 4:30 pm in
Higuey and you will be transferred back to the hotel.
